Made in Peru by a small cooperative. Areas of Lima can have unemployment levels as high as 80% so the work of this cooperative really helps the local people. Workers receive fair rates of pay and the co-operative providesgood working conditions.

This spa set comprises a luxurious bathrobe and a fabulous ecru bath sheet, with a buff body brush and a linen wash-bag.
Bath robe and bath sheet are organic cotton; which reduced the pesticide loading in the fields where it was grown. The body brush is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) wood. All the elements in this kit were imported on fair trade terms so you can be sure that no one was exploited to bring them to you.

Please note that the organic cotton fair trade bath sheet has not had the highly caustic industrial wash usually given to cotton towels. It will need a few normal domestic washes to bring out its true softness and absorbency.
