How are points awarded?

Once you have purchased a product, usually within the day, sometimes within the hour, we should have a record of your transaction and this will appear on your "My account" page.

Your points balance will not show while the transaction status is "pending". Once a "confirm" status is reached, that means you can be confident that points will be awarded. This can be really quick with some retailers, but expect a minimum of a day or two. You have to be patient with some other retailers.

Within a day or so your awarded points will figure on your balance, the status shows "paid". Once they appear as "paid", you can redeem your points for any rewards, provided you have collected enough.

The delays are necessary only to make sure customers have enough time to deal with any problems and allows retailers, and ecomonkey for that matter, to make sure that all the processes and checks are working safely and securely.
