Co-operative Bank
« Back
The Co-operative Bank, founded in 1872, had similar origins to the Co-op Insurance Society – offering services to co-operative societies. The two businesses were brought together in 2002 when The Co-operative Financial Services was launched, encouraging a stronger working relationship. By July 2007 The Co-operative Group and United Co-operatives become one organisation, known as The Co-operative, the world's largest consumer co-operative. Ethics are part of the DNA of the Co-op. The financial services bit has a unique suite of policies shaped by it's members. Their views and concerns ultimately decide how they invest their money.
